The Prophet of Allah ﷺ forbade mixing ripe dates with unripe dates, mixing raisins with dates, and mixing nearly-ripe dates with fresh ripe dates. He said, "Steep each one on its own."
و حدثني أبو بكر بن إسحق حدثنا عفان بن مسلم حدثنا أبان العطار حدثنا يحيى بن أبي كثير
أن نبي الله ﷺ نهى عن خليط التمر والبسر وعن خليط الزبيب والتمر وعن خليط الزهو والرطب وقال انتبذوا كل واحد على حدته
