The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not soak unripe dates together with ripe dates to make nabidh, and do not soak ripe dates together with raisins to make nabidh. Rather, soak each of them separately."Yahya claimed that he met Abdullah bin Abu Qatada, who narrated to him from his father, from the Prophet ﷺ, a hadith similar to this.
