Abu Burda slaughtered his sacrifice before the prayer, so the Prophet ﷺ told him, "Replace it."He said, "Messenger of Allah, I have nothing but a young goat."Shuba said, "I think he also said, 'and it is better than a full-grown one.'"So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Offer it in its place, but it will not suffice for anyone after you."He did not mention any uncertainty about the statement, "It is better than a full-grown one."
