I witnessed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform the prayer on the day of Adha, then he delivered a sermon and said, "Whoever slaughtered before performing the prayer, let him repeat it in its place, and whoever has not yet slaughtered, let him slaughter in the name of Allah."
حدثنا عبيد الله بن معاذ حدثنا أبي حدثنا شعبة عن الأسود سمع
شهدت رسول الله ﷺ صلى يوم أضحى ثم خطب فقال من كان ذبح قبل أن يصلي فليعد مكانها ومن لم يكن ذبح فليذبح باسم الله
