When the verse "And warn your closest kin" [Shuara 26:214] was revealed, the Prophet of Allah ﷺ went to a heap of stones at the foot of a mountain. He climbed to the top and stood on a rock, then called out, "Children of Abd Manaf, I am a warner to you. My example and yours is like that of a man who saw the enemy approaching and set off to scout for his family. Fearing that the enemy might reach them before he could, he began shouting, 'A morning raid! A morning raid!'"

لما نزلت {وأنذر عشيرتك الأقربين} قال انطلق نبي الله ﷺ إلى رضمة من جبل فعلا أعلاها حجرا ثم نادى يا بني عبد منافاه إني نذير إنما مثلي ومثلكم كمثل رجل رأى العدو فانطلق يربأ أهله فخشي أن يسبقوه فجعل يهتف يا صباحاه
