We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to Khaybar, and then Allah granted them victory over it. On the evening of the day it was conquered, the people lit many fires.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "What are these fires? What are you cooking on them?"They replied, "Meat."He asked, "What kind of meat?"They said, "The meat of domestic donkeys."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Pour it out and break the pots."A man asked, "Messenger of Allah, may we pour it out and wash the pots instead?"He replied, "That will do."
و حدثنا محمد بن عباد وقتيبة بن سعيد قالا حدثنا حاتم وهو ابن إسمعيل عن يزيد بن أبي عبيد
خرجنا مع رسول الله ﷺ إلى خيبر ثم إن الله فتحها عليهم فلما أمسى الناس اليوم الذي فتحت عليهم أوقدوا نيرانا كثيرة فقال رسول الله ﷺ ما هذه النيران على أي شيء توقدون قالوا على لحم قال على أي لحم قالوا على لحم حمر إنسية فقال رسول الله ﷺ أهريقوها واكسروها فقال رجل يا رسول الله أو نهريقها ونغسلها قال أو ذاك
