I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "We are a people who hunt with these dogs."He replied, "When you send out your trained dogs and mention the name of Allah over them, eat from what they catch for you, even if they have killed it, unless the dog eats from it. If it eats, do not eat, for I fear it caught the prey only for itself. And if other dogs that are not yours mingle with them, do not eat."

سألت رسول الله ﷺ قلت إنا قوم نصيد بهذه الكلاب فقال إذا أرسلت كلابك المعلمة وذكرت اسم الله عليها فكل مما أمسكن عليك وإن قتلن إلا أن يأكل الكلب فإن أكل فلا تأكل فإني أخاف أن يكون إنما أمسك على نفسه وإن خالطها كلاب من غيرها فلا تأكل
