The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade a man from coming to his family unexpectedly at night, suspecting them of betrayal or seeking out their faults.Abdul-Rahman said that Sufyan remarked, "I do not know whether this part is in the hadith or not," meaning the words "suspecting them of betrayal or seeking out their faults."
و حدثنيه محمد بن المثنى حدثنا عبد الرحمن حدثنا سفيان بهذا الإسناد قال عبد الرحمن قال سفيان لا أدري هذا في الحديث أم لا يعني أن يتخونهم أو يلتمس عثراتهم
