Abu Hurairah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Among the best lives people can lead is that of a man holding the reins of his horse in the path of Allah, flying upon its back. Whenever he hears a cry of alarm or a call to arms, he flies off on it, seeking to kill and to be killed wherever death is likely to be found. Or a man with a small flock of sheep on the peak of one of these mountains or in the hollow of one of these valleys, establishing the prayer, giving the zakat, and worshipping his Lord until death comes to him, having nothing to do with people except in what is good."
