The Prophet ﷺ said, "No soul that dies and has goodness with Allah would be pleased to return to this world, even if it were given the world and all that is in it, except for the martyr. He wishes to return and be killed again in this world because of what he sees of the excellence of martyrdom."
و حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا أبو خالد الأحمر عن شعبة عن قتادة وحميد
عن النبي ﷺ قال ما من نفس تموت لها عند الله خير يسرها أنها ترجع إلى الدنيا ولا أن لها الدنيا وما فيها إلا الشهيد فإنه يتمنى أن يرجع فيقتل في الدنيا لما يرى من فضل الشهادة
