He heard Jabir being asked whether the Prophet ﷺ had taken the pledge of allegiance at Dhul-Hulayfah. Jabir replied, "No, but he prayed there. He did not take the pledge under any tree except the tree at Hudaybiyyah."Ibn Jurayj said, Abu Zubayr informed me that he heard Jabir bin Abdullah say, "The Prophet ﷺ supplicated at the well of Hudaybiyyah."
و حدثني إبراهيم بن دينار حدثنا حجاج بن محمد الأعور مولى سليمان بن مجالد قال قال ابن جريج
أنه سمع جابرا يسأل هل بايع النبي ﷺ بذي الحليفة فقال لا ولكن صلى بها ولم يبايع عند شجرة إلا الشجرة التي بالحديبية قال ابن جريج وأخبرني أبو الزبير أنه سمع جابر بن عبد الله يقولا دعا النبي ﷺ على بئر الحديبية
