I said, "Messenger of Allah, we were in a state of evil, then Allah brought good and we are in it now. Will there be evil after this good?"He said, "Yes."I asked, "Will there be good after that evil?"He said, "Yes."I asked, "Will there be evil after that good?"He said, "Yes."I asked, "How?"He said, "After me there will be leaders who do not follow my guidance and do not adhere to my Sunnah. Among them men will rise whose hearts are the hearts of devils in the bodies of humans."I said, "What should I do, Messenger of Allah, if I live to see that?"He said, "You listen and obey the ruler, even if he strikes your back and takes your wealth. Listen and obey."

Muslim reported the hadith of Muawiya bin Salam, from Zayd, from Abu Salam, who said, Huzaifa said, "We were in evil, then Allah placed us in good."In my view, this is mursal. Abu Salam did not hear from Huzaifa, nor from his peers who settled in Iraq, because Huzaifa died only a few nights after the killing of Uthman, may Allah be pleased with him. Since Abu Salam said in it "Huzaifa said," this indicates that it is mursal.
Hafiz Mizzi said in Tahzib Kamal, when mentioning the teachers of Abu Salam, regarding Huzaifa bin Yaman, it is said that the narration is disconnected. End of quote.The Hafiz said in Tahdhib al-Tahdhib, He narrated from Huzaifa, Abu Dharr, and others without a direct link. End of quote.Hafiz Alai said in Jami Tahsil, volume 2, page 97, Mamtur, Abu Salam Habashi, narrated from Huzaifa and Abu Malik Ashari, and that is found in Sahih Muslim. Daraqutni said, He did not hear from either of them. He said that in the course of mentioning the narrators whose narration from that particular teacher is judged to be disconnected, whether absolutely or in a specific hadith, as far as could be determined, to the end of his words, may Allah have mercy on him.
