The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Abu Dharr, I see that you are weak, and I love for you what I love for myself. Never take command over even two people, and never take charge of an orphan's wealth."
حدثنا زهير بن حرب وإسحق بن إبراهيم كلاهما عن المقرئ قال زهير حدثنا عبد الله بن يزيد حدثنا سعيد بن أبي أيوب عن عبيد الله بن أبي جعفر القرشي عن سالم بن أبي سالم الجيشاني عن أبيه
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال يا أبا ذر إني أراك ضعيفا وإني أحب لك ما أحب لنفسي لا تأمرن على اثنين ولا تولين مال يتيم
He also reported it from Abu Khaythama and Ishaq, from Muqri, from Saeed bin Abu Ayub, from Ubaydullah bin Abu Jafar, from Salim Jayshani, from his father, from Abu Dharr, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said to him, "O Abu Dharr, I see that you are weak, and I want for you what I want for myself. Do not take command over two people, and do not take charge of an orphan's property."Ibn Lahia also narrated it, but he differed from Saeed. He narrated it from Ubaydullah bin Abu Jafar, from Muslim bin Abu Maryam Sadafi, from Abu Salim Jayshani, from his father, from Abu Dharr, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
