Abdullah bin Yazid went out with the people to pray for rain. He prayed two rakahs and then prayed for rain. The narrator said, "I met Zayd bin Arqam that day, and there was only one man between me and him, or between me and him was a man."He said, "I asked him, 'How many military expeditions did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ undertake?'"Zayd replied, "Nineteen."I asked, "How many of them did you take part in with him?"He said, "Seventeen expeditions."I asked, "What was the first expedition he led?"He answered, "Dhat al-Usayr," or "al-Ushayr."

ق أن عبد الله بن يزيد خرج يستسقي بالناس فصلى ركعتين ثم استسقى قال فلقيت يومئذ زيد بن أرقم وقال ليس بيني وبينه غير رجل أو بيني وبينه رجل قال فقلت له كم غزا رسول الله ﷺ قال تسع عشرة فقلت كم غزوت أنت معه قال سبع عشرة غزوة قال فقلت فما أول غزوة غزاها قال ذات العسير أو العشير
