Anas bin Malik reported,

It was said to the Prophet ﷺ, "If only you would go to Abdullah bin Ubayy."So he set out to him, riding a donkey, and the Muslims went along with him through salty, barren ground. When the Prophet ﷺ reached him, Abdullah said, "Get away from me. By Allah, the stench of your donkey has offended me."A man from the Ansar said, "By Allah, the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ donkey smells better than you."Then a man from Abdullah's own people grew angry on his behalf, and the companions of each man grew angry for their side. They came to blows with palm branches, fists, and sandals.We were told that it was concerning them that the verse was revealed, "And if two parties among the believers fall into a fight, then make peace between them" [Hujurat 49:9].

عن أنس بن مالك قال

قيل للنبي ﷺ لو أتيت عبد الله بن أبي قال فانطلق إليه وركب حمارا وانطلق المسلمون وهي أرض سبخة فلما أتاه النبي ﷺ قال إليك عني فوالله لقد آذاني نتن حمارك قال فقال رجل من الأنصار والله لحمار رسول الله ﷺ أطيب ريحا منك قال فغضب لعبد الله رجل من قومه قال فغضب لكل واحد منهما أصحابه قال فكان بينهم ضرب بالجريد وبالأيدي وبالنعال قال فبلغنا أنها نزلت فيهم {وإن طائفتان من المؤمنين اقتتلوا فأصلحوا بينهما}
