Jundab reported,

Jibreel was delayed in coming to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so the polytheists said, "Muhammad has been forsaken." Then Allah revealed, "By the morning brightness, and by the night when it grows still, your Lord has not forsaken you, nor does He despise you" [Duha 93:1–3].

حدثنا إسحق بن إبراهيم أخبرنا سفيان عن الأسود بن قيس أنه

سمع جندبا يقول

ا أبطأ جبريل على رسول الله ﷺ فقال المشركون قد ودع محمد فأنزل الله عز وجل {والضحى والليل إذا سجى ما ودعك ربك وما قلى}
