The Prophet ﷺ entered Mecca on the day of the Conquest, and around the Kaabah were three hundred and sixty idols. He began striking them with a stick he held in his hand, saying, "Truth has come and falsehood has vanished. Indeed, falsehood is ever bound to vanish" [Isra 17:81], and "Truth has come, and falsehood can neither originate nor restore" [Saba 34:49].Ibn Abu Umar added the words "on the day of the Conquest."

دخل النبي ﷺ مكة وحول الكعبة ثلاث مائة وستون نصبا فجعل يطعنها بعود كان بيده ويقول {جاء الحق وزهق الباطل إن الباطل كان زهوقا} {جاء الحق وما يبدئ الباطل وما يعيد} زاد ابن أبي عمر يوم الفتح
