Hind bint Utba bin Rabia came and said, "Messenger of Allah, by Allah, there was no household on the face of the earth I wished to see humiliated more than the people of your household. But today, there is no household on the face of the earth I wish to see honored more than the people of your household."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "And even more so, by the One in whose hand is my soul."Then she said, "Messenger of Allah, Abu Sufyan is a stingy man. Is there any blame on me if I feed our family from what belongs to him?"He said to her, "No, but only in what is reasonable."

جاءت هند بنت عتبة بن ربيعة فقالت يا رسول الله والله ما كان على ظهر الأرض خباء أحب إلي من أن يذلوا من أهل خبائك وما أصبح اليوم على ظهر الأرض خباء أحب إلي من أن يعزوا من أهل خبائك فقال رسول الله ﷺ وأيضا والذي نفسي بيده ثم قالت يا رسول الله إن أبا سفيان رجل مسيك فهل علي حرج من أن أطعم من الذي له عيالنا فقال لها لا إلا بالمعروف
