Muslim narrated the hadith of Waki, from Hisham, from his father, from Miswar, that Umar consulted others regarding a woman's miscarriage. This is a mistake. The companions of Hisham, namely Wahib, Zaida, Abu Muawiya, Ubaydullah bin Musa, and Abu Usama, contradicted him, for they did not mention Miswar, and that is the correct version. In Zaida's hadith, from Hisham, from his father, he heard Mughira, and likewise Abu Zinad said, from Urwa, from Mughira. Muslim narrated nothing but the hadith of Waki, and that is a mistake. Bukhari narrated the hadiths of those who contradicted him and gave the correct version.
