A group from the tribe of Urayna came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, embraced Islam, and pledged allegiance to him. At that time, an illness called al-mum, which is pleurisy, had broken out in Medina. He then mentioned a narration similar to theirs, and Wazad, "He had with him some young men from the Ansar, close to twenty in number, so he sent them after them, and dispatched a tracker along with them to follow their trail."
و حدثنا هارون بن عبد الله حدثنا مالك بن إسمعيل حدثنا زهير حدثنا سماك بن حرب عن معاوية بن قرة
أتى رسول الله ﷺ نفر من عرينة فأسلموا وبايعوه وقد وقع بالمدينة الموم وهو البرسام ثم ذكر نحو حديثهم وزاد وعنده شباب من الأنصار قريب من عشرين فأرسلهم إليهم وبعث معهم قائفا يقتص أثرهم
