Some people from the tribe of Urayna came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in Madinah, but they found its climate disagreeable. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to them, "If you wish, you may go out to the camels of charity and drink from their milk and urine."They did so and recovered their health. Then they turned on the herdsmen, killed them, apostatized from Islam, and drove off the camels of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. When news of this reached the Prophet ﷺ, he sent men after them. They were brought back, and he had their hands and feet cut off, their eyes gouged out, and left them in the Harrah until they died.
و حدثنا يحيى بن يحيى التميمي وأبو بكر بن أبي شيبة كلاهما عن هشيم واللفظ ليحيى قال أخبرنا هشيم عن عبد العزيز بن صهيب وحميد
أن ناسا من عرينة قدموا على رسول الله ﷺ المدينة فاجتووها فقال لهم رسول الله ﷺ إن شئتم أن تخرجوا إلى إبل الصدقة فتشربوا من ألبانها وأبوالها ففعلوا فصحوا ثم مالوا على الرعاة فقتلوهم وارتدوا عن الإسلام وساقوا ذود رسول الله ﷺ فبلغ ذلك النبي ﷺ فبعث في أثرهم فأتي بهم فقطع أيديهم وأرجلهم وسمل أعينهم وتركهم في الحرة حتى ماتوا
