The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whenever a man grants a lifetime gift to another and to his descendants, it belongs to the one to whom it was given and does not return to the giver, because he made a gift in which inheritance rights have taken effect."
حدثنا يحيى بن يحيى قال قرأت على مالك عن ابن شهاب عن أبي سلمة بن عبد الرحمن
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال أيما رجل أعمر عمرى له ولعقبه فإنها للذي أعطيها لا ترجع إلى الذي أعطاها لأنه أعطى عطاء وقعت فيه المواريث
