Abu Salama related that there was a dispute between him and his people over a piece of land. He went in to see Ayesha and mentioned the matter to her.She said, "Abu Salama, stay away from that land, for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Whoever wrongfully takes even a hand span of land will have it hung around his neck from seven earths.'"

أن أبا سلمة حدثه وكان بينه وبين قومه خصومة في أرض وأنه دخل على عائشة فذكر ذلك لها فقالت يا أبا سلمة اجتنب الأرض فإن رسول الله ﷺ قال من ظلم قيد شبر من الأرض طوقه من سبع أرضين
