The Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived in Medina while the people were engaging in advance-payment transactions. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to them, "Whoever pays in advance must do so for a specified measure and a specified weight."

قدم رسول الله ﷺ والناس يسلفون فقال لهم رسول الله ﷺ من أسلف فلا يسلف إلا في كيل معلوم ووزن معلوم
