Abu Hurairah reported,

A man had a debt owed to him by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he spoke harshly to him. The companions of the Prophet ﷺ were about to deal with him, but the Prophet ﷺ said, "The one who is owed a right has a right to speak."Then he said to them, "Buy him a camel of the same age as his and give it to him."They said, "We can only find one of a better age than his."He said, "Then buy it and give it to him, for indeed the best of you," or he said, "the best among you, is the one who repays his debts most graciously."
