Ibn Umar used to rent out land. Then he was informed of a hadith from Rafi bin Khadij, so he took me along with him to go see him.Rafi mentioned a report from one of his uncles, in which it was stated that the Prophet ﷺ forbade Kira Ard.So Ibn Umar abandoned the practice and stopped renting out land.
