The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade muhaqalah, muzabanah, and mukhabarah, and forbade selling fruit before its ripeness becomes apparent. It is not to be sold except for Dinar and dirham, with the exception of arayah sales.

نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن المحاقلة والمزابنة والمخابرة وعن بيع الثمر حتى يبدو صلاحه ولا يباع إلا بالدينار والدرهم إلا العرايا
