The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited muzabanah. Muzabanah is the sale of fresh dates on the palm tree for dried dates by measure, and the sale of grapes for raisins by measure, and selling any fruit by estimation.

نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن المزابنة والمزابنة بيع ثمر النخل بالتمر كيلا وبيع الزبيب بالعنب كيلا وعن كل ثمر بخرصه
