Two types of sales were forbidden, mulamasah and munabadhah. As for mulamasah, it is that each of the two parties touches the other's garment without examining it. And munabadhah is that each of them tosses his garment to the other, neither one having looked at the other's garment.

نهي عن بيعتين الملامسة والمنابذة أما الملامسة فأن يلمس كل واحد منهما ثوب صاحبه بغير تأمل والمنابذة أن ينبذ كل واحد منهما ثوبه إلى الآخر ولم ينظر واحد منهما إلى ثوب صاحبه
