Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

I had wanted to ask Umar about the two women who had supported one another against the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I waited a whole year without finding the right opportunity, until I accompanied him to Mecca. When we reached Marr al-Zahran, he went off to relieve himself and said, "Catch up to me with a vessel of water."So I brought it to him. When he had finished and returned, I began to pour the water for him, and I remembered my question. I said to him, "Commander of the Believers, who were the two women?"I had not even finished speaking when he said, "Ayesha and Hafsa."
