Abdullah bin Umar reported,

Someone was asking about a man who had divorced his wife while she was menstruating. He said, "Do you know Abdullah bin Umar?"The man replied, "Yes."He said, "He divorced his wife while she was menstruating, so Umar went to the Prophet ﷺ and informed him of what had happened, and the Prophet instructed him to take her back."Talq said, "I did not hear him add anything beyond that to his father's account."
