Abdullah bin Umar reported,

I divorced my wife while she was menstruating. Umar came to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned this to him, and the Prophet ﷺ said, "Let him take her back, then when she becomes pure, if he wishes, let him divorce her."The narrator said, I asked Ibn Umar, "Was that divorce counted?"He replied, "What would prevent it from being counted? What do you think if a man becomes incapable or acts foolishly?"
