We asked Abu Saeed, "Did you hear the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mention anything about coitus interruptus?"He replied, "Yes," and he proceeded to relate the hadith with the same meaning as the hadith of Ibn Awn, up to his words "the divine decree."
حدثنا محمد بن المثنى حدثنا عبد الأعلى حدثنا هشام عن محمد
قلنا لأبي سعيد هل سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يذكر في العزل شيئا قال نعم وساق الحديث بمعنى حديث ابن عون إلى قوله القدر
Muslim narrated it from Ibn Muthanna, from Abdul-Ala, from Hisham, from Muhammad, from his brother Mabad, from Abu Saeed, "coitus interruptus." He said, Hisham was not corroborated in this, and Ayub and Ibn Awn contradicted him, narrating from Muhammad, from Abdul-Rahman bin Bishr, from Abu Saeed. So perhaps Ibn Sirin preserved it from her, and Allah knows best. Muslim narrated all of these versions.
