I said to Zuhri, "Abu Bakr, how is this hadith, 'The worst food is the food of the wealthy'?"He laughed and said, "It is not 'The worst food is the food of the wealthy.'"Sufyan said, "My father was wealthy, so this hadith alarmed me when I heard it. I asked Zuhri about it, and he said, 'Abdul-Rahman al-Araj told me that he heard Abu Hurayrah say, "The worst food is the food of the wedding banquet."'" He then mentioned the rest of the hadith similar to the hadith of Malik.

قلت للزهري يا أبا بكر كيف هذا الحديث شر الطعام طعام الأغنياء فضحك فقال ليس هو شر الطعام طعام الأغنياء قال سفيان وكان أبي غنيا فأفزعني هذا الحديث حين سمعت به فسألت عنه الزهري فقال حدثني عبد الرحمن الأعرج أنه سمع أبا هريرة يقولا شر الطعام طعام الوليمة ثم ذكر بمثل حديث مالك
