Abdul-Rahman bin Awf married a woman during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for a dowry equal in weight to a date-stone of gold. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Hold a wedding feast, even if only with a single sheep."

أن عبد الرحمن بن عوف تزوج على عهد رسول الله ﷺ على وزن نواة من ذهب فقال له رسول الله ﷺ أولم ولو بشاة
