He informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade temporary marriage at the time of the Conquest, the temporary marriage of women, and that his father had contracted a temporary marriage in exchange for two red cloaks.
و حدثنيه حسن الحلواني وعبد بن حميد عن يعقوب بن إبراهيم بن سعد حدثنا أبي عن صالح أخبرنا ابن شهاب
أنه أخبره أن رسول الله ﷺ نهى عن المتعة زمان الفتح متعة النساء وأن أباه كان تمتع ببردين أحمرين
