Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ reported from his Lord that He said, "Allah has recorded good deeds and bad deeds." Then he explained this, "Whoever intends a good deed but does not do it, Allah records it with Him as one complete good deed. If he intends it and then does it, Allah records it with Him as ten good deeds, up to seven hundred times over, up to many times more. Whoever intends a bad deed but does not do it, Allah records it with Him as one complete good deed. If he intends it and then does it, Allah records it as a single bad deed."

عن ابن عباس

عن رسول الله ﷺ فيما يروي عن ربه تبارك وتعالى قال إن الله كتب الحسنات والسيئات ثم بين ذلك فمن هم بحسنة فلم يعملها كتبها الله عنده حسنة كاملة وإن هم بها فعملها كتبها الله عز وجل عنده عشر حسنات إلى سبع مائة ضعف إلى أضعاف كثيرة وإن هم بسيئة فلم يعملها كتبها الله عنده حسنة كاملة وإن هم بها فعملها كتبها الله سيئة واحدة
