The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have been commanded to go to a town that devours all other towns. People call it Yathrib, but it is Madinah. It expels its evil people just as the bellows expels impurities from iron."
و حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد عن مالك بن أنس فيما قرئ عليه عن يحيى بن سعيد قال سمعت أبا الحباب سعيد بن يسار يقول سمعت
ا قال رسول الله ﷺ أمرت بقرية تأكل القرى يقولون يثرب وهي المدينة تنفي الناس كما ينفي الكير خبث الحديد
