Saad bin Abu Waqqas reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I declare sacred the area between the two lava tracts of Madinah, that its thorny trees not be cut and its game not be killed." And he said, "Madinah is better for them, if only they knew. No one leaves it out of distaste for it without Allah replacing him there with someone better than him, and no one endures its hardship and difficulty patiently without my being an intercessor or a witness for him on the Day of Resurrection."Ibn Numayr added in his version of the hadith, "And no one intends harm against the people of Madinah without Allah melting him in the Fire as lead melts, or as salt dissolves in water."
