The Prophet ﷺ was approached while he was at his resting place in Dhul-Hulayfah, in the bottom of the valley, and it was said to him, "You are in a blessed valley."Musa said, Salim made our camels kneel at the resting spot near the mosque where Abdullah used to make his camel kneel, seeking out the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ resting place. It lies below the mosque that is in the bottom of the valley, midway between the mosque and the qiblah.
و حدثنا محمد بن بكار بن الريان وسريج بن يونس واللفظ لسريج قالا حدثنا إسمعيل بن جعفر أخبرني موسى بن عقبة
أن النبي ﷺ أتي وهو في معرسه من ذي الحليفة في بطن الوادي فقيل إنك ببطحاء مباركة قال موسى وقد أناخ بنا سالم بالمناخ من المسجد الذي كان عبد الله ينيخ به يتحرى معرس رسول الله ﷺ وهو أسفل من المسجد الذي ببطن الوادي بينه وبين القبلة وسطا من ذلك
