The Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived on the day of the Conquest and stopped in the courtyard of the Kaabah. He sent for Uthman bin Talha, who came with the key and opened the door. Then the Prophet ﷺ entered along with Bilal, Usama bin Zayd, and Uthman bin Talha, and he ordered that the door be shut. They remained inside for a long while, then the door was opened.Abdullah said, "I rushed ahead of the people and met the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as he was coming out, with Bilal close behind him."I asked Bilal, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray inside?"Bilal replied, "Yes."I asked, "Where?"He said, "Between the two columns, facing him."Abdullah added, "But I forgot to ask him how many units he prayed."

قدم رسول الله ﷺ يوم الفتح فنزل بفناء الكعبة وأرسل إلى عثمان بن طلحة فجاء بالمفتح ففتح الباب قال ثم دخل النبي ﷺ وبلال وأسامة بن زيد وعثمان بن طلحة وأمر بالباب فأغلق فلبثوا فيه مليا ثم فتح الباب فقال عبد الله فبادرت الناس فتلقيت رسول الله ﷺ خارجا وبلال على إثره فقلت لبلال هل صلى فيه رسول الله ﷺ قال نعم قلت أين قال بين العمودين تلقاء وجهه قال ونسيت أن أسأله كم صلى
