Ayesha reported,

We used to garland sheep and send them off, while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ remained in a non-sacralized state, with nothing being forbidden to him on that account.

كنا نقلد الشاء فنرسل بها ورسول الله ﷺ حلال لم يحرم عليه منه شيء
