Ayesha reported,

I used to braid the garlands for the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ sacrificial sheep, then he would send them off, yet he would remain among us in a non-consecrated state.

لقد رأيتني أفتل القلائد لهدي رسول الله ﷺ من الغنم فيبعث به ثم يقيم فينا حلالا
