He was narrating about the Pilgrimage of the Prophet ﷺ. He said, "He commanded us, once we had exited the state of ihram, to offer a sacrificial animal, and that a group of us could share together in one offering." This was when he ordered them to exit the state of ihram from their Hajj, as mentioned in this hadith.
و حدثني محمد بن حاتم حدثنا محمد بن بكر أخبرنا ابن جريج أخبرنا أبو الزبير أنه سمع
يحدث عن حجة النبي ﷺ قال فأمرنا إذا أحللنا أن نهدي ويجتمع النفر منا في الهدية وذلك حين أمرهم أن يحلوا من حجهم في هذا الحديث
