The Messenger of Allah ﷺ combined Maghrib and Isha at Jam, with no prayer between them. He prayed Maghrib as three units and Isha as two. Abdullah continued to pray at Jam in this same manner until he met Allah Almighty.
و حدثني حرملة بن يحيى أخبرنا ابن وهب أخبرني يونس عن ابن شهاب أن
جمع رسول الله ﷺ بين المغرب والعشاء بجمع ليس بينهما سجدة وصلى المغرب ثلاث ركعات وصلى العشاء ركعتين فكان عبد الله يصلي بجمع كذلك حتى لحق بالله تعالى
