He asked Anas bin Malik, as the two of them were traveling from Mina to Arafat, "What did you used to do on this day with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?"Anas replied, "Some of us would call out the talbiyah and no one would object to him, and some of us would call out the takbir and no one would object to him."
و حدثنا يحيى بن يحيى قال قرأت على مالك
أنه سأل أنس بن مالك وهما غاديان من منى إلى عرفة كيف كنتم تصنعون في هذا اليوم مع رسول الله ﷺ فقال كان يهل المهل منا فلا ينكر عليه ويكبر المكبر منا فلا ينكر عليه
