Asma bint Umays gave birth to Muhammad bin Abu Bakr at the Tree, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered Abu Bakr to instruct her to perform the ritual bath and enter the state of ihram.
He also reported the hadith of Ubayda, from Ubaydullah, from Ibn Qasim, from his father, from Ayesha, that Asma gave birth to Muhammad bin Abu Bakr, so the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, commanded Abu Bakr that she should perform ghusl and enter the state of ihram.Abu Hasan said, Malik contradicted him, narrating from Abdul-Rahman, from his father, in a mursal form, without mentioning Ayesha, and that is the correct version. The hadith of Ubayda is a mistake.Sulayman said, narrating from Yahya, from Qasim, from his father, but this is not sound as coming from his father.
