I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Four creatures are all harmful and may be killed both within the sacred precinct and outside it: the kite, the crow, the mouse, and the biting dog."The narrator said, I asked al-Qasim, "What about the snake?"He replied, "It is to be killed with contempt."
حدثنا هارون بن سعيد الأيلي وأحمد بن عيسى قالا أخبرنا ابن وهب أخبرني مخرمة بن بكير عن أبيه قال سمعت عبيد الله بن مقسم يقول سمعت القاسم بن محمد يقول سمعت
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول أربع كلهن فاسق يقتلن في الحل والحرم الحدأة والغراب والفأرة والكلب العقور قال فقلت للقاسم أفرأيت الحية قال تقتل بصغر لها
