Saab bin Jathama presented a wild donkey as a gift to the Prophet ﷺ while the Prophet ﷺ was in the state of ihram. He returned it to him and said, "Were it not that we are in ihram, we would have accepted it from you."
و حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة وأبو كريب قالا حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن حبيب بن أبي ثابت عن سعيد بن جبير
أهدى الصعب بن جثامة إلى النبي ﷺ حمار وحش وهو محرم فرده عليه وقال لولا أنا محرمون لقبلناه منك
