Abdullah bin Umar reported,

"For me to wake up smeared with tar would be more pleasing to me than to wake up in a state of ihram dripping with perfume."So I went to Ayesha and told her what he had said. She replied, "I perfumed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then he went around to his wives, and in the morning he entered ihram."

و حدثنا أبو كريب حدثنا وكيع عن مسعر وسفيان عن إبراهيم بن محمد بن المنتشر عن أبيه قال سمعت

ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما يقول

ا لأن أصبح مطليا بقطران أحب إلي من أن أصبح محرما أنضخ طيبا قال فدخلت على عائشة رضي الله عنها فأخبرتها بقوله فقالت طيبت رسول الله ﷺ فطاف في نسائه ثم أصبح محرما
